HVAC Xperts was founded by Tony Essig and Chris Schmitt with a straightforward goal: build a heating and air conditioning company that North Atlanta homeowners can actually rely on. Not one that upsells when a simple fix will do, or disappears after the job is done.
They started this company because they saw a gap between what homeowners needed and what they were getting. Professional, honest HVAC service should not be hard to find. HVAC Xperts was built to be exactly that.

From day one, HVAC Xperts has committed a meaningful portion of our revenue to organizations doing real work in our communities and beyond. In our first year, we are pledging nearly $18,000 toward causes we believe in, representing 2.5 percent of our revenue goal and approximately 16 percent of projected profit.

Our Current Causes
The Matiak Foundation
The Matiak Foundation is a nonprofit based in Holly Springs, Georgia, dedicated to serving children, young adults, families, and veterans both locally and internationally. Their work spans workforce training and apprenticeship programs for foster youth, at-risk young adults, and veterans in Cherokee County, alongside international outreach in Haiti and Honduras that funds schools, builds wells, and supports communities in need.
Our planned donations are directed specifically toward school construction projects in Honduras for upcoming middle school classes, including infrastructure improvements that benefit the surrounding community.

Their program supports healing through trauma-informed mental health services, life skills training, and community-based living, helping women work toward independence and long-term stability.
HVAC Xperts plans to support BeLoved Atlanta through financial donations and volunteer time. Co-founder Chris Schmitt has served on the BeLoved Atlanta board since 2024, and as HVAC Xperts grows, we are committed to offering employment opportunities to women supported by the organization, providing a practical path toward stability for as long as we are able.
